I don’t think anyone will be surprised to hear this one. If you’ve been following the development of Resident Evil: Afterlife, you know that the Paul W.S. Anderson has used the latest 3d cameras and tech to make this one of the most immersive movies ever, visually speaking. A release at IMAX only makes sense, and that will indeed happen. I just don’t know if audiences will hit up IMAX specifically for this film.

I didn’t start out as a video game collector, but that’s the path that life has lead me down. I don’t actively collect video games, but with all the games I’ve amassed over the years, there’s no doubt I have a collection. I also have to admit that I feel a certain sense of satisfaction when I’ve filled up another shelf with games. The only question I’m asking myself is, when will my collection be complete?

PR Log (Press Release) – May 13, 2010 – When 34-year-old Patrick Scott Patterson set up a live internet broadcast to chase a video game world record, he had little idea it would resonate with the public after nearly a year.

In June of 2009, Patterson, a married father of two in Denton, TX, set up a live broadcast to reclaim his Madden NFL 09 video game world record as listed by Twin Galaxies, the official scorekeeping organization for video gaming. A gamer had recently bested his score of “Biggest Blowout VS the CPU” and he was determined to regain it.

With a 192-0 victory using his favorite Dallas Cowboys, Patterson not only reclaimed his spot on top of the Twin Galaxies website, but also a series of other stories on the score, including an appearance and interview in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2010 and on May 12 a feature story on ESPN.com.

Patterson, who runs a small business dealing with the repairs of arcade video games and game consoles, holds numerous gaming world records, including Madden NFL 10 and Super Mario Bros. and plans to resume his live web broadcasts later this year on his www.PatrickScottPatterson.com website.

Nintendo loves to give their games commercial refreshes, as it helps them continue to be long-tail sellers. The latest title to receive yet another push is Tomodachi Collection, with new commercials airing now. These commercials feature actresses Shihori Kanjiya and Keiko Kitagawa playing the title. Even with Tomodachi Collection sitting in the top 10 sales since it launched last year, this new round of commercials should cement its spot for a bit longer.
