While the trio of free gifts we received in SimCity Social was one thing, there’s now a way for mayors to receive a free gift, almost on a daily basis, simply for continuing to “Like” the SimCity Social fan page on Facebook.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to predict when these prizes will become available, or even what the prize will be, but mayors have already been able to earn free collectibles, building materials, Simoleons and extra energy bolts for clicking on links that are posted by the folks at Playfish. In this early stage of the game, multiple prizes have been given away each day, as a way to thank early adopters, so it’d be in your best interests as a player to keep one eye on the page so that you don’t miss out on anything special. Of course, we’ll do our part to keep you in the loop as well.

For now, make sure to head to the game’s official Facebook fan page and click the “Like” button if you want your chance at all sorts of free daily goodies for your town!

The underwater areas from Monster Hunter Tri are gone in Monster Hunter 4. It sounds like this game is going to be all about altitude instead since you can hang on monsters and do different attacks depending if you’re higher or lower than a monster.
